Michael just had a phone conversation with his oncologist. The bone marrow biopsy came out negative, and the radiologist report for the PET scan was pretty much the same as what we saw in the doctor's office last week.
Whooooohoooooo!
Because Michael is asymptomatic, he may delay treatment for a few weeks. Research indicates that in people who are asymptomatic, it is actually more beneficial to wait until symptoms appear before starting chemo treatments.
In the meantime, Michael is looking into the Gerson Method. There are licensed Gerson clinics in Hungary and Mexico. We may be taking a quickly planned vacation to a new destination fairly soon. Or we may not.
